Here's a picture of the tutus and headbands I made for the Girl's Halloween costumes. They turned out beautifully -- in fact, Lauren won first prize in our community for her costume! Yes, it was a great ego booster for me.
I'm going to be adding Tutus to my Etsy shop in the next couple of weeks.
I've been busy the last week adding new items to my Etsy shop and taking advantage of the current rate before the changes on 11/13. I'm excited about the new look of Etsy and the new features are going to be terrific.
I've also been busy working on my photos. These are always a struggle for me, but this week I think I turned a corner and was able to get some really good photos of some bracelets which in the past have been extremely difficult for me.
Here's one of my "do-overs" and I think it turned out pretty well:

Fairy Monster Petula -- Birth

M Wah Ha Ha Ha (well, you get the idea!)! I feel like Dr. Frankenstein, I'm creating my own monster. I'd been mulling this idea in my brain for a couple of weeks and finally decided to give it a try the other day. It's kind of fun. So far I've created my own pattern and cut out the Fairy Monster. I'm using stuff I've collected over the years and it's kind of fun to look in some of my storage boxes to see what goodies I can find.

The Fairy Monster does have a name, Petula. It just came to me while I was cutting out the fabric so I figured I should go with the force.

Black and Aqua Cha Cha Bracelet

Okay, I have a new favorite! This is another bracelet I've been composing in my head for a while. It started with the vintage glass "Sputnik" beads I found and it grew from there. There's an interesting mix of vintage and glass contemporary beads, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver beads. The large round sterling silver beads are made by the artisans at Shiana. I love their silver!

This is a unique and One Of A Kind (OOAK) piece of jewelry.

You can purchase this bracelet from my blog or you can visit my Ruby Lane shop for more beautiful pieces!

The price on my blog includes S&H. The bracelet is 7.5". It has over 25 hand-wrapped charms and is made with sterling silver (S-hook clasp, beads, wire and headpins), vintage and contemporary glass beads and Swarovski crystals.

Confetti Cha Cha Bracelet

I've been itching to make this bracelet all summer. I've had the beads since the spring and I had to mull it over for awhile before I decided what I wanted to do. It finally came to me about 6 weeks ago...I know, a little slow to implement!

This bracelet is just oodles of fun! The colors are vibrant and alive and the bracelet just sparkles. When you wear this bracelet you will think you have a party happening on your wrist.

I made this bracelet using these fabulous acrylic disco beads with an AB finish. They catch the light in the most amazing way. There are over 35 hand-wrapped charms. All of the metal on this bracelet is sterling silver (chain, headpins and lobster claw clasp).

Colors: Pinks, purple, green, blue, orange and yellow.

Size: 6.75" to 7.75" (comes with a sterling silver extender chain).

You can purchase this bracelet using the Google checkout (price includes shipping) or you can purchase it through my Ruby Lane shop.

Round Robin Starter Bracelet

This is a "starter bracelet" for a Round Robin in which I'm participating. The Round Robin has approximately 15 people, so the bracelet should end up being pretty full. I can't wait to see the results!

I've never participated in a Round Robin before, so this will be all new and fresh. I'm also hoping it will stimulate my creative flow.

The bracelet is made with sterling silver, Czech glass beads and Swarovski crystal. The colors are red (light siam), black and clear crystal.

Red beads have really been calling to me this summer so expect to see lots of red for the fall and winter!

Violet Pony Tail Holder -- Hair Bling!

I've tried these before and been sort of happy with the results, but I think I finally got it right this time! I'm really pleased with the results. I will be making more and I would be happy to make a custom pony tail holder, just contact me.
The colors on this one are gorgeous! I love the different shades of purple. If you're interested in buying, it is available in my Etsy store. You can also purchase it right now using Google checkout. The price includes shipping and handling.

Ladybugs and Flowers Fringe Bracelet

I'm in love with this bracelet. It gave me all kinds of problems and I think I re-did it about 3 times, but finally it all came together.
Ladybugs are my favorite bug (if you've got to have a favorite, Ladybugs seem like a good choice) and when I saw these beads I thought they would make a very fun bracelet. It is full of different flowers and it makes for a fun bracelet for the summer.
